"No. 252 Rue M. Le Prince" by Ralph Adams Cram
I'm reading a collection of Haunted House stories. Since this short story takes place in Paris, I thought of Olivia.
"In three minutes we were sitting in the queer little garden of the Chien Bleu, drinking vermouth and absinthe, and talking it all over."
Absinthe made me think of the Old Absinthe House in New Orleans. One of my favorite haunts ;).
Four more favorite haunts...
The Pirates Alley Cafe and Absinthe House
Napoleon House (1797)
Eric Isaac's incredible photos of the Napoleon House (below). He also has excellent photos of other New Orleans bars, bistros, restaurants, cafes and more.

Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar

Pat O'Brien's
It' definitely more of a tourist hangout now, however the locals still hang out in the main bar and the piano bar. The Courtyard is beautiful, as are all of the courtyards in the Vieux Carré /French Quarter. Uptown/the Garden District is beautiful, too. If you can't afford to take a trip to Paris right now, consider visiting New Orleans-the little Paris of the New World.

Celtic Tree Month of Ivy Begins
Celtic Tree Month of Ivy-Ivy Moon: September 30-October 27.
Kate Bush Ivy Pics.
It wouldn't take me long
To tell you how to find it
To tell you where we'll meet
This little girl inside me
Is retreating to her favourite place
Go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Under the leaves
Away from the party
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose
(For me)
I sit here in the thunder
The green on the grey
I feel it all around me
And it's not easy for me
To give away a secret
It's not safe
But go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Under the leaves
Away from the party
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose
(For me)
Go into the garden
Go under the ivy
Go under the leaves with me
Go right to the rose
Go right to the white rose
I'll be waiting for you
It wouldn't take me long
To tell you how to find it

Happy Autumnal Equinox!
I love this photo of Olivia. Welcome/Bienvenue Autumn/L'automne.
Singer/Songwriter/Musician Kate Bush.
Olivia , Kate and Singer/Songwriter/Musician Nick Drake are three of my favorite people. I thought I'd post this pic since Kate is sporting a cap, as well.
Here is Nick Drake. Poet of my heart and soul. Listening to "Time of No Reply" as I type this. I'm also drinking a Pumpkin Ale. :-)
Nick Drake-"Time of No Reply" with video of his home and grave. Film by Julian Davies.
Summer was gone and the heat died down
And Autumn reached for her golden crown
I looked behind as I heard a sigh
But this was the time of no reply.
The sun went down and the crowd went home
I was left by the roadside all alone
I turned to speak as they went by
But this was the time of no reply.
The time of no reply is calling me to stay
There is no hello and no goodbye
To leave there is no way.
The trees on the hill had nothing to say
They would keep their dreams till another day
So they stood and thought and wondered why
For this was the time of no reply.
Time goes by from year to year
And no one asks why I am standing here
But I have my answer as I look to the sky
This is the time of no reply.
The time of no reply is calling me to stay
There`s no hello and no goodbye
To leave there is no way.

I apologize for not posting in quite awhile. I have an autoimmune disease, so I will disappear for short to long periods of time due to flare ups. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Happy Vernal Equinox to everyone in the Southern Hemisphere.

Bat For Lashes
Bat for Lashes is the work of British singer/ songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and visual artist Natasha Khan.
Natasha's dress kind of reminds me of Olivia's in this picture. Especially, how their sides are exposed. Both are really pretty dresses.
Olivia is stunningly beautiful.
As you may have noticed from some of my previous posts, I really love music. I like to find things that remind me of Olivia in music and photos. Olivia is truly the only movie star I love. Olivia has my full attention when it comes to movies. I will also focus on her radio and stage work.
Oh, I almost forgot. Here are three Bat For Lashes songs... "Daniel" http://open.spotify.com/track/72Z3omkingFSu6Qvo7EkLh , "Glass" http://open.spotify.com/track/620URofLWRdI6LJHKO13bH and "Pearl's Dream" http://open.spotify.com/track/5KSYLBTunLdnGPSsKbguh1
I recommend Spotify. Wonderful way to listen to music. It's worth signing up for and it's free. It truly is perfect for music lovers.
